FERTPRO SURGERY
Planned specialty scope · Availability subject to clinical validation

One connected surgical record, from planning to recovery.

Pre-operative, theatre, anaesthesia and discharge scope.

THE CLINICAL JOURNEY

Designed around the way
your specialty works.

Surgical case spanning decision, preparation, theatre events, anaesthesia, recovery and outcomes.

01

Capture indication, planned procedure/site/laterality, consent, fitness review, anaesthesia assessment, investigations and resource requirements.

02

Manage theatre scheduling, team roles, sign-in/time-out/sign-out, antibiotic documentation, positioning and equipment readiness.

03

Record intraoperative observations, anaesthetic events, procedure steps, implants/UDI/lot, instrument/swab counts, specimens and complications.

04

Complete operative note, recovery handoff, pain/wound assessment, discharge instructions and longitudinal outcomes; include robotic case metadata as an extension.

Diagnosis coverage and clinical records

Procedure-specific diagnoses such as appendicitis, hernia, gallbladder disease, malignancy, fractures and degenerative joint disease. Store preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative diagnoses separately; distinguish planned procedure from actually performed procedure and conversion.

Equipment and integration plans
  • Anaesthesia machines/monitors, infusion pumps, endoscopic towers and OR video → approved gateway and case-linked archive.
  • Robot ecosystems such as da Vinci 5, Hugo, Versius Plus and Mako require vendor-specific export agreements; EMR scope is documentation, images and outcomes, not motion or energy control.

Connections require an approved interface and testing against the installed manufacturer, model and software. Listed equipment is a candidate integration target.

Reporting and meaningful outcomes

Start-time accuracy, turnaround, checklist completeness, implant traceability and complications within declared windows; compare case-mix before interpreting surgeon-level outcomes.

Development scope and clinical validation

Initial scope

Case management, checklist, operative/anaesthetic documentation, implants/specimens and recovery.

Advanced scope

Device feeds, surgical video and manufacturer-authorized robotic data connectors.

Example acceptance scenarios

  • Patient/site/procedure discrepancies must be resolved before checklist completion; retrospective completion is visibly time-stamped.
  • Robot network/export failure must not interrupt device operation; duplicate case imports must not create duplicate operations.
