FERTPRO NEONATOLOGY
Planned specialty scope · Availability subject to clinical validation

Make every hour of newborn care traceable.

Neonatal assessment, NICU care and outcomes.

THE CLINICAL JOURNEY

Designed around the way
your specialty works.

Newborn intensive-care episode with maternal links, gestational maturity, minute/hour-level events and daily care plans.

01

Create distinct newborn identities, including multiples, linked to maternal delivery information; capture resuscitation and admission details.

02

Daily workspace covers respiratory support, haemodynamics, thermoregulation, nutrition, fluids, infection evaluation and developmentally supportive care.

03

Track expressed milk/donor milk custody, feeds, lines, parenteral nutrition, medications and screening.

04

Plan family participation, kangaroo care, discharge readiness and high-risk follow-up with corrected-age context.

Diagnosis coverage and clinical records

Prematurity, low birth weight, respiratory distress, apnoea, sepsis, jaundice, hypoglycaemia, necrotizing enterocolitis and congenital disease. Store gestational/postnatal context and confirmed versus suspected status; neonatal pathways cannot inherit adult thresholds.

Equipment and integration plans
  • Incubators, warmers, ventilators, monitors, syringe pumps, bilirubinometers and blood-gas analysers → validated NICU gateways.
  • Milk barcode systems link donor/batch/preparation to infant administration; device alerts remain independent of EMR availability.

Connections require an approved interface and testing against the installed manufacturer, model and software. Listed equipment is a candidate integration target.

Reporting and meaningful outcomes

Growth trajectories, feeding milestones, line/ventilation exposure days, screening completion and discharge follow-up; risk-adjust outcome comparisons.

Development scope and clinical validation

Initial scope

Newborn identity, daily chart, support/feeding records, orders and discharge plan.

Advanced scope

Validated monitor/ventilator feeds, milk traceability and neonatal calculations.

Example acceptance scenarios

  • Twin identity and milk matching must be tested across bedside transfers; maternal identity must never substitute for newborn identity.
  • Fluid/dose calculations must identify the selected weight and reject a thousand-fold gram/kilogram error.
