FERTPRO MATERNAL-FETAL MEDICINE
Planned specialty scope · Availability subject to clinical validation

One pregnancy journey. Every mother and fetus clearly represented.

High-risk pregnancy, fetal assessment and multidisciplinary review.

THE CLINICAL JOURNEY

Designed around the way
your specialty works.

Pregnancy episode linked to maternal record and individually identified fetuses; newborn records become separate people.

01

Establish dating source, estimated delivery date and gestational-age calculation history; record gravida/parity and previous outcomes.

02

Build antenatal visits around maternal conditions, medicines, screening, laboratory results and risk review.

03

Create a persistent fetus A/B/etc. identity with chorionicity/amnionicity for multiples, anatomy survey, serial growth and Doppler findings.

04

Record fetal medicine procedures, counselling, referrals, birth planning and maternal/postnatal handoff; distinguish screening risk from confirmed diagnosis.

Diagnosis coverage and clinical records

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy; gestational diabetes; fetal growth restriction; suspected anomalies; multiple pregnancy; alloimmunization; placental disorders; preterm-birth risk. Attach maternal versus fetal subject, gestational age, diagnostic evidence and specialist assessment.

Equipment and integration plans
  • Obstetric ultrasound → DICOM images/SR when supported, including model-specific GE Voluson conformance.
  • CTG/fetal monitors → trace archive and interpretation through approved gateway; distinguish maternal pulse from fetal signal. No automatic fetal diagnosis from imported traces.

Connections require an approved interface and testing against the installed manufacturer, model and software. Listed equipment is a candidate integration target.

Reporting and meaningful outcomes

Scan/report completion; high-risk review timeliness; follow-up by pregnancy and fetus; pregnancy outcomes with loss-to-follow-up separately counted.

Development scope and clinical validation

Initial scope

Pregnancy/fetus model, antenatal visits, dating, screening, biometry and birth referral.

Advanced scope

Doppler/SR import, CTG linkage and invasive-procedure tracking.

Example acceptance scenarios

  • Twin identities must remain stable across serial scans and birth handoff.
  • Changing an EDD must retain prior dating, reason and recalculated chart history; no silent retrospective rewriting.
