FERTPRO IMAGING
Planned specialty scope · Availability subject to clinical validation

A coordinated imaging service, from request to completed study.

Ultrasound, imaging worklists and reporting scope.

THE CLINICAL JOURNEY

Designed around the way
your specialty works.

Imaging service workflow: request → protocol → acquisition → archive → reporting work item.

01

Receive requests with clinical question, body part, urgency and patient identifiers; schedule equipment, staff and preparation.

02

Technologists document pregnancy checks where relevant, implants/MRI safety, contrast assessment, consent and protocol selection.

03

Send verified worklists to modalities, reconcile performed studies, store images and capture completion/quality information.

04

Manage repeats, cancelled exams, contrast reactions, external-image import and downtime reconciliation; route completed studies to radiology or the appropriate specialist.

Diagnosis coverage and clinical records

Capture reason for examination and suspected disease without presenting a technologist’s acquisition record as the final diagnosis. Imaging service spans ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, mammography, fluoroscopy and nuclear medicine where offered.

Equipment and integration plans
  • PACS/VNA, modality worklist, DICOM storage, MPPS and dose SR where supported; DICOMweb services where supplied by archive.
  • Portable ultrasound and point-of-care imaging require explicit patient matching; scanner DICOM support does not guarantee every worklist, measurement or dose feature.

Connections require an approved interface and testing against the installed manufacturer, model and software. Listed equipment is a candidate integration target.

Reporting and meaningful outcomes

Order-to-scan time, modality utilization with staffed-hours denominator, repeat rate by reason and unarchived-study backlog.

Development scope and clinical validation

Initial scope

Scheduling, safety forms, accession, image archive links and acquisition status.

Advanced scope

Worklist/MPPS, dose analytics and enterprise image exchange.

Example acceptance scenarios

  • Wrong-patient or unmatched accession images enter a reconciliation queue rather than auto-attaching by patient name.
  • Failed archive transfer must remain visible until receipt is confirmed; local image retention cannot be cleared prematurely.
